So far, the games of chance like bingo had been considered a good way to spend your free time and have fun. However, recent studies have shown that playing bingo, whether online or at bingo halls, is very beneficial to keep your mind agile.
A study realized by the researchers of the Psychology department at Southampton University among 112 people, whose ages were between 18 and 40 and between 60 and 82 show that playing bingo is good for the mind. In fact, among the youngest people interviewed, the ones that played bingo were faster in memory tests than the ones that did not play it. Similar to that, among the oldest people interviewed, the ones that played bingo were more accurate in memory test than the ones that did not play. Even though the number of interviewed people is not big enough to extrapolate the results, the results are still very significant.
Therefore, if you are not yet a bingo fan, now you have another reason to try it, as apart from being extremely funny they are also good for your health!
